Ms. Hardin's practice focuses on providing comprehensive, personalized legal services to individuals, couples and families in the areas of estate planning, probate, estate and trust litigation, trust administration and business planning. The touchstone of Ms. Hardin's practice is her desire and ability to relate with her clients and to promote an environment in which they feel comfortable discussing sensitive and sometimes difficult issues, such as, family dynamics and financial, economic and end-of-life decisions. With this in mind, Ms. Hardin's primary objective is to protect her clients, their families and their assets. Ms. Hardin strives to do the heavy lifting for her clients so that they can plainly assess their needs, plan for the future and live life with the knowledge that their affairs are in order. Ms. Hardin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with high honors, from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She earned her law degree from Golden Gate University School of law, where she received numerous merit-based scholarships and the prestigious Public Interest Scholars Award Scholarship for her dedication to public service. Ms. Hardin began her legal career at the San Francisco Ethics Commission as its lead enforcement attorney. She thereafter shifted her focus to private practice and worked with a solo attorney who specialized in estate planning and probate administration. In 2003, Ms. Hardin opened her own law firm in downtown San Francisco, where she has developed a thriving and sophisticated estate planning, trust and probate practice. She recently expanded her practice with a second office in Walnut Creek to meet the needs of her rapidly growing East Bay clientele. In addition to her busy law practice, Ms. Hardin is the current Vice-Chair of the Barrister's Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section of the San Francisco Bar Association. She also is the current Vice-Chair of the Estate and Gift Tax Section of the California State Bar Taxation Section, and she serves on the Executive Committee of the Bay Area Young Tax Lawyers.
